Paul Curtis received an ABJ degree in Journalism in 1976 from The University of Georgia, Magna Cum Laude with General Honors, where he was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Kappa Tau Alpha honorary scholastic societies. Mr. Curtis attended the University of Georgia School of Law where he was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1979. Before graduation, Mr. Curtis was awarded First Place in the annual Citizens and Southern National Bank Will Drafting Contest for third year law students. His career began as a Law Clerk to United States District Judge Frank A. Hooper. In 1982, Mr. Curtis opened his own law practice, and in 1993, he became associated with a law firm that emphasized real estate. Mr. Curtis left that firm in 1997 to practice on his own until the formation of Curtis & Kidd, P. A. An Atlanta native, Mr. Curtis is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, and is admitted to practice in Georgia's Supreme Court, all Superior Courts, and the Federal Courts in the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia.
